Mr. Ichikawa received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii in 1970, and his Hawaii CPA certificate in 1972. He is a founding principal of Egami and Ichikawa Certified Public Accountants, Inc.

Previous to starting the firm in July 1984, he had over 12 years of audit, accounting, and tax experience in the private sector, local and national CPA firms.

Mr. Ichikawa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Government Accountants, and a Board of Director for the Hawaii Dental Service.
